The founder of Grace Your Space Interiors, Melinda Scifres studied Interior Design at Bauder College of Design in Arlington, Texas, and has practiced residential Interior Design since 1983. Working in many design studios, furniture stores and other related industries in Texas over the past 24 years. Doing everything from complete interior design projects, window treatments, floor planning, to being an accessory buyer and lighting consultant! She has owned her own Interior Design business since 1997.
Melinda was a registered professional member of the "Texas Board of Architectural Examiners" for many years and has finished certification in Interior Redesign and Home Staging. She most recently completed the American School of Design and Installation Training Course in Arlington, Texas where she learned about new products and how to install window treatments. During her time working for furniture stores, she has had the opportunity to complete several training courses, including "Thomasville University", where she gained knowledge about the quality and construction of home furnishings.
She has a love and passion for making homes look beautiful, and a great understanding of how to create spaces that appeal to many.
